Ryder-Cheshire Foundation Waikato owns and manages seven wheelchair-friendly accessible homes specifically designed to support people living with disabilities.

Located in St Andrews, Hamilton, our homes provide residents with independence, accessibility, companionship, and a strong sense of community.

Our homes include:

Wheelchair-accessible homes

Accessible bathrooms and living spaces

Fully furnished common areas

Single rooms available within shared households

Modern appliances included

Homes ranging from two to five bedrooms

Residents simply bring their own bedroom furniture and personal belongings.

Inclusions

Rent includes reasonable power use and ground maintenance.

Choose from a room with a shared bathroom or a room with an ensuite and underfloor heating. 

Each home is fully furnished with modern appliances. Residents simply bring their own bedroom furniture.

Independent Living Options

Many of our homes operate as shared households where residents enjoy independent living while accessing support services of their choice through Disability Support Link and NASC-approved providers.

Managed Care Accommodation

Two of our homes operate as 24/7 care facilities managed by NZ Care Group for residents who require higher levels of support.
